So I have this tendency to buy things that are loose, flowy (yes I’m aware that isn’t a word but I’m going to use it anyways), and that from time to time look more like a tent than a dress. For example, I am obsessed with boho flowing dresses, but most of the time they just do not flatter my frame and at 5’4″ the dresses end up wearing me instead of the other way around. Over the years, I’ve slowly but surely learned to dress more for my body type, and the A-line structured dress has become my best friend. Tailored, well-fitted dresses tend to be far more complimentary, and this GORGEOUS dress from French Connection is absolute perfection. I love the shoulders, the tucks at the waist, the exposed zipper, the black and white print with hints of neon green. Everything about this dress is sort of ridiculously perfect. Drool-worthy.
