Forever 21’s sale is still going (last day is today!!) and a number of the pieces I’m wearing are 50% off (the perfect way to get your holiday shopping over and done with before the rush begins)! When I found this plaid coat I couldn’t wait to style it! I’m not big on pattern mixing although I love it on other people, so for me the knit of the sweater and the plaid of the coat is about as close as pattern mixing as I get, but I think the two really compliment each other! I also love mixing the sweet softness of chunky knit sweaters with edgier pieces like this leather pleated skirt so this is a quintessential “ME” outfit. Shooting this look was so much fun, Big C and I really had no clue how to use a camera when we bought ours a few years ago, and we have been learning so much just by playing around with lighting and contrast. The sun was on it’s way down and peeking through the alley we were shooting in – absolute golden lighting. So cool….so calming. Happy Tuesday, babes.
