After one of my more recent posts about plaids I had a lot of questions about how to take plaid from a weekend casual look to a more dressed up holiday party/date night/work appropriate look. I am a big fan of juxtaposition, and the combo of a plaid flannel top with a more fitted skirt and sparkly statement necklace is right up my style alley. The colors in the plaid also feel festive and remind me of winter and Christmas, so I’m definitely going to be wearing something similar for the upcoming holiday months. Also looooving the laser-cut details on the black booties, they add a little excitement that an all black bootie wouldn’t quite be able to accomplish (and I found these exact steals of the ones that I am wearing for only $40). So, what do you think? Would you wear something like this?
