Favorite Plaids Under $20

I have a serious obsession with plaids and flannels, and lucky for me fashion week was brimming with plaid looks from every designer (think Victoria Beckham, Altuzarra,  and Thakoon to name just a few). However, if you’re more into traditional plaid colors instead of the smatterings of neon and fuzzy looks seen walking the runway, then you’re in luck. While I am not opposed in the least to spending a little more for a gorgeous staple piece, when I find plaid shirts like this Micro-Plaid from Forever 21 for only $14.80 it MAKES MY DAY. So, to get you ready for the upcoming season, I have handpicked some of my favorite more traditional-inspired plaid pieces all of which are under $20!!! Definitely a steal. I am especially loving the Chiffon Plaid Print Blouse and Tartan Plaid Sweatshirt…and at prices this cheap, there’s no reason why you can’t stock up! Happy Tuesday and happy shopping 😉

I am loving the plaid as well! How do I wear it for work. I want a little bit of edginess but still need to keep that work appropriate look. Oh, and I live in FL sooooooo, something lighter, Mmmmkkkkk? Thanks!

This is a perfect question, Danielle! I would definitely stay away from flannels since Florida is so hot and you want to still be work appropriate, but something like the Chiffon Plaid blouse listed in this post or a cotton plaid button up like this (http://rstyle.me/n/qpmrr4tcw) one would be perfect and lightweight! I would tuck the top into a fitted midi-length skirt for a perfect office-ready look, and add a sparkly statement necklace for some fun!
