One of my favorite combos is leather and plaid; mixing the two allows you to soften the “biker babe” look while still maintaining some edge. While we were up in Big Bear it was cold enough to wear layers (YAY!) so I took full advantage. You can also totally mix patterns (like I did with the leopard print and plaid) as long as the two are not competing with each other, and mixing in accessories like a patterned boot, scarf, or gloves is a great way to experiment without fear that you will look like you got dressed in the dark. Another plus to the cold? I got lots and lots of snuggles from Little C 🙂
Also, head over to Two Little Bird’s Planning (amaaaaazing wedding blog) to check out my post on how to beat the holiday food craze! I’ll be guest posting monthly on different tips, tricks, and fitness regimens to get you ready for your big day!
