Everyone needs a date night-and in our family, date night doesn’t often mean Big C and I going out just the two of us. Both of our families live far away, and with baby sitters hard to find out here, our date nights usually involve all three of us. Date nights also tend to involve running errands-glamorous, right? Over the weekend we had one such family date night which included walking around outside so Little C could gaze longingly at the pool (poor girl is obsessed with the water and wants to be in it all the time), shopping at Target for household essentials, and getting dinner. Little C was a trooper so we allowed her to pick out her very own cookie to top off the night-a first for her. She chose an M&M sugar cookie but as it turned out she just wanted to eat the M&Ms….and left the cookie. She seems to love chocolate just like her mama 🙂 Totally beside the point but how rad is the tweed on this Truth and Pride jacket? When I hear the whole “no white after labor day” saying I have to disagree-white is definitely meant to be worn year round. If you aren’t ready for white in the winter just yet, try out a cream colored (also sometimes referred to as winter white) item first. Hope that you all have a wonderful Friday!
