Where are you guys off to for Thanksgiving this year? We are heading up North to my mom and stepdad’s place around San Francisco on Wednesday; Chloe is SUPER excited. This will be the second time that we will have flown with Mr. Charlie Dog in an airplane, but our first flight with a layover…and I’m just really hoping it’s a relatively smooth flight. Our last trip in the airplane with our pets was ridiculous, Dexter one of our cats escaped into the cabin mid-flight and we had no idea until a woman about four rows up turned around and said ‘excuse me, is this your cat?”. Needless to say, we were horrified and had to snag Dexter and unceremoniously stuff him yowling back into his carry case. I’ll have to tell the full story about our plane ride when we moved to Austin some point soon, looking back it’s hilarious but while it was happening it was just insane.
AND..just in case you guys need some last minute Thanksgiving day outfit inspo, this fun little number is perfect, especially for going out with friends after a day of food and fun with your fam. Combining a cozy, fuzzy sweater and some destructed denim in the form of a black jean skirt is the perfect mix of laid-back casual and subtle sexiness, AND this sweater is nice and loose which means it can hide the food belly you worked up during the day (bonus – the denim is super stretchy, too). Just a quick note about this Raga sweater – it’s SO INSANELY soft and the blue marled knit is freaking gorgeous. And better yet, there is no wool (or other animals hair for that matter) which is so nice since I’m allergic to wool and most thick knits have it in them. So in case woll makes your skin itch like me, then this sweater is totally made for you. I’m wearing an XS and it’s definitely a good fit, I would say it runs pretty true to size. I paired the look with a simple black trench coat, leather booties, and this rad choker from Wanderlust that I am obsessed with.
