BOOTIES: c/o Naughty Monkey  ::  DRESS: Forever 21 (in store), super similar here  ::  LEATHER MOTO JACKET: Express (old), similar faux leather style here (great price), loving this leather beauty

Happy Monday loves! The weekend (per usual) went by far too fast. Luckily, I have a great remedy for getting rid of the Monday blues, because nothing fixes the post-weekend sadness than some really gorgeous booties! As you guys know by now I’m a serious sucker for ankle booties, and today I’m teaming up with rad shoe company Naughty Monkey to bring you guys two ways to style their fabulous and ultra-versatile ‘Party Doll‘ booties. I am in love with the silver chain and gem embellishments on the heels and the unique stitching in the soft suede, but I think that what I’m impressed with the most is how impossibly comfortable they are! The platform provides plenty of cushion and the heel is thick enough to provide stability while still looking super ladylike (PS they come in black too and I think I might have to get them).

When it comes to shoes, I look for versatile pairs that I can wear with jeans or a dress and easily take from day to night, and the Party Doll so fits the bill. Today’s look is a fun, date-night/girl’s-night-out look that demonstrates how easy this bootie is to dress up (make sure that you check back this week to see how I dress these bad boys down).  I’m a huge fan of combining textures so I offset the suede v-cut booties with a croc-embossed drop-waist dress and added some edge with a leather moto jacket; I love how the black in the dress bring out the gems in the shoes! And, if you’re planning to do some dancing, rest assured that while the heel might be high the Party Doll is all-night approved, my feet didn’t hurt at all in these! Definitely a win all around in my book.

NOW. The best part – Naughty Monkey is giving my readers $20 off on their site, so if you are in need of some shoes (and really who isn’t in need of shoes) head on over to and plug in the code ‘MAYA20’ at checkout and bam! New shoes AND a discount. See, I told you I had remedies for those Monday blues 😉
