Aghhhh I don’t even know where to start – there are so many pieces in this outfit that I want to rave about! I am always a fan of juxtaposition – essentially creating contrast with pieces that don’t necessarily at first glance complement each other. A perfect example of juxtaposition in fashion is this combo, the black lace (and decidedly dressy) shorts paired with the more laid back casual plaid button up. It’s the perfect mix for a mellow night out where you want to be dressy but not overdone. And while at first glance lace and plaid may seem like an odd pairing, they actually complement each other really nicely. Never mind the AMAZING Rebecca Minkoff crossbody in ‘Tortora’, a grayish purple leather with rose gold hardware or these stunning wedges by Alexander Wang; I’m sort of obsessed with everything single piece in this ensemble, AND it’s really super comfy which is a total bonus.
