It’s Wednesday which means laid back looks, ripped denim, and sunglasses….although that’s sort of every day, if I’m being honest. I can not believe that by tomorrow I will have a FIVE year old. It breaks my heart…it’s so weird how them turning another year older feels so wonderful and sad at the same time. I remember when she was just the tiniest little being and now…now she is her own person, full of sass and jokes, and just so very CHLOE. I’ll be writing more about her and the last five years tomorrow to celebrate her big day, but for today let’s talk ripped jeans and aviators.
I LOVE destroyed denim. Like, love love love. So I am always on the lookout for the perfect pair…and I FOUND them!!! These black skinnies by James Jeans are PERFECT in every single way. The distressing at the knee, the mid-but-not-too-high waist, the most fabulous amount of stretch. They are incredibly soft. And one of my favorite things about them is that the hems are raw, which I think just adds such a cool look to them. Definitely wearing them on repeat lately. I paired them with simple pieces and colors, to let them really take center stage; an olive bomber (if you don’t have a bomber yet please do yourself a favor and get one, they are one of THE trends of the season), a white tee, and some simple platform sneakers. And sunglasses because I have a serious thing for sunnies…no clue why. PS Check out this dope Richmond & Finch case!!!! I LOVE it – it’s totally different than anything else out there with it’s leather python print and rose gold metal. I haven’t taken it off my phone since getting it, and I probably won’t…ever.
