While the majority of the nation is wrapped in the grips of a downright nasty winter storm, Southern California is boasting temps in the 80’s. THE 80’s! How is that even possible? It’s January. I am NOT ready for skirts and shorts and tanks-I want to wear my cozy chunky knits, my boots and coats. I want to cuddle up on our couch and listen to rain spatter against the ground, to smell the fresh dirt in the air. This is a hard part for me about living here in LA, there is very little change as far as seasons go. I love gray cold days, I adore the rain and snow; I should have been born in Seattle. Since I miss the chill of winter, I wanted to share a look I put together a few weeks ago while we were in Utah (where it’s actually legitimately cold). At least I can live vicariously through my photos, right? I love tweed, and adore all things oversized, so this black and white oversized coat was screaming my name. Here’s to hoping for warmer temps in for the rest of the nation, and some cooler temps (and much needed rain) here in SoCal!
