I totally went back and forth on whether to style this look with the skull scarf along with the leopard pumps. I’m not a pattern mixer – in my experience on Instagram and fashion blogging there are are various categories of style bloggers, one of which is the pattern mixers. And while I absolutely adore the look on them, I just can’t seem to make it work for me very well; I fall more on the minimalist end of things at least in terms of my preference for black and white and the fact that I generally avoid patterns aside from plaid and stripes (again that isn’t because I don’t like the look, I think it’s adorable, I just can’t rock it like other people can). So I was pretty torn about whether the leopard and the skull print could work…..but I think it did!! I actually really love how this look turned out…and tying the bottom of the Ro and De blouse actually added the finishing touch…funny how often times the smallest detail is what takes the look to the next level. This look could work year round but it feels festive with the gold caps in the heels and the cranberry fedora. Also side note, these are the COMFIEST JEANS EVER!!! I love Paige denim. Seriously. Gah. Treat yourself if you’re looking for a pair of perfectly distressed denim, the stretch and cut on these is perfection. Happy Thursday loves!
