I have been on the hunt for a classic menswear-inspired camel colored coat for some time now. I wanted something slightly oversized with clean lines and, equally important, under $100. Thanks to the LA weather which almost never dips beneath 60 degrees I refuse to spend a ton of money on a coat (not to mention that I’m allergic to wool – so so sad), and while the Theory coat I was lusting over was absolute perfection it was way outside of my LA coat budget. And this is why I love Forever 21. This fabulous coat has everything that I wanted style-wise, was under $55 and totally gorgeous! The quality is great, and it looks far more pricey than it was. I wanted to let the coat really shine so I paired it with a simple tee, some distressed denim to lend a little bit of an undone feel to the whole outfit, and some caramel-colored booties (which happen to be super comfy AND on sale!!). To top off all of this awesomeness, Forever 21 is having a huge sale up to 50% off on a ton of their new winter-wear!! Definitely a sale that HAS to be checked out. Happy Monday, loves!
