Unicorn Birthday Bash

Over the weekend we went to Little C’s best friend’s ‘Unicorn Rainbow’ birthday party-it was gorgeous and perfectly girly in every way.  The festivities were held in a beautiful shaded park up in the Palisades and had tons of fun baby-driven activities:

    • Butcher paper on the tables so kiddos could draw
    • Colorful mini pails with crayons
    • Washable roll-on paints
    • Small covered canvas so each kid could decorate their own masterpiece to take home
    • A parachute (Little C’s favorite) which the babes played in, on, and under

The decorations were divine-simple and delicate, with rainbow colored balloons and streamers, a unicorn balloon, and glittering ‘Happy Birthday’ banner. There were drinks and snacks, but the crowning glory (in C’s opinion) were the rainbow cupcakes. I love how when you have a birthday party at a park, you really don’t need much in the way of party decor, the natural beauty of the outdoors is more than enough. All of the pictures below were taken by Aleks Kocev, a fantastic lifestyle photographer based out of Los Angeles. Check out more of his fab work here.

Our girls are close in age and it has been so much fun to watch them grow up together. We loved celebrating our sweet friend’s birthday and can’t wait for Little C’s upcoming celebration!
