Happy Thursday loves! Congrats on surviving the week – we are one day closer to Friday! And just in time for the weekend….Planet Blue is having their Black Friday sale!! Yes, you read that right, it’s this weekend, and everything is going to be 25, 50, and 75% off from the 18th through the 21st. I mean are you kidding me, EVERYTHING on sale? I have been coveting their entire site, but here are a few of my current favorites: this fringed sweater is killer, the statement sleeves on this blouse are to die for, these corduroy shorts are insanely adorable, and this cognac suede moto jacket is phenomenal…one can never have too much suede. Can you tell I’m excited? Yesssss.
And just in case you guys need some inspo, I’m sharing this look (courtesy of Planet Blue). The top of this For Love & Lemons dress is gorgeous but it’s getting chilly in Austin so I did a ‘from summer to fall’ look, and paired it with a knit sweater. I love lace with chunky knits, it’s a great juxtaposition – the delicacy of the lace is illuminated by the casual thick knit. I paired the look with a beige purse and my newest favorite sunglasses which have been on serious repeat. Fashion tip: when styling a statement piece like a lace dress keep accessories simple so that the statement item can really shine without competition; remember that less is often more. And one more fashion tip – get your booties over to the Planet Blue site this weekend! And then make sure that you fill me in on what goodies you end up getting!
