Leopard and Snowballs

Little C and I had a great time playing in the little bit of snow that stuck to the ground up in Big Bear, and making mini snow balls!  She refused to wear her gloves for more than a minute at a time (I think she loved the sensory experience of cold, wet snow on her fingertips) which was not ideal, but we made it work-she spent a lot of time with her cold little fingers inside my coat. I have a penchant for all things neutral, and try as I might, I have a hard time straying from my black, white, and gray staples.  Along with my neutral palette obsession I have a thing for leopard print, so when I saw this Joie sweatshirt I had to have it; I’ve found that prints are a great way to add some playfulness to neutrals!  It was suuuuper cold up in Big Bear, so I layered the sweatshirt with a coat, beanie, my current favorite pair of boyfriend jeans, the gloves from this post, and Uggs.  Side note: I realize that plenty of people think that Uggs are ugly, but I love them. They are warm, functional, and I can wear them around the house or outside.  With a very busy Little C, they are fab because I can pull them on in a second and be out the door.  And how amazing are these jeans, by the way?? I love the color, the rose gold accent of the top button, and the destruction is PERFECT.  Do yourself a favor and get a pair (because they are on sale and soooo comfy).
