Does this post even need explanation? I love overalls, there is something so fun and a bit childish about them. Combined with a rad Brian Lichtenberg ‘homies beanie and some track-soled booties this is a super “me” outfit – which I clearly felt comfortable in hence some of the goofy pics I decided to leave in the mix. When styling this look I had a specific feel in mind, I wanted to create something that was a bit grunge but still chic enough that you guys would feel comfortable if you chose to recreate it. I decided to keep the rest of the color scheme black to allow the overalls to really be the centerpiece of the look; when styling trendy pieces like overalls it’s always best to stick to one trend rather than many to avoid trend-overload as I like to call it. And while I know that it’s still just January and a lot of the country is battling blizzards, it’s seriously been 80 degrees here and I just couldn’t resist pulling these out of my closet. FYI you could totally recreate this look for cold weather by choosing long overalls instead of shortalls, and working in a thicker top and coat to stay warm. I would love to hear what you guys think!
