One of the perks of being a parent is getting to share what you love with your little one(s), and as a self-professed animal-loving nerd, I will take any opportunity to go to the aquarium.  We have a membership at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, and Big C always says that we go more for me than for Little C (but I swear she loves it too).  I adore seeing her eyes light up as she tries to touch the rays that swim past her, and how excited she gets when we tell her we are “going to see the fishies”. If you haven’t been to the aquarium yet, GO. The Aquarium of the Pacific not only houses fish, but sharks, penguins, rays, seals, and birds.  They even have a beautiful aviary where you can feed sugar water to lorikeets.  The aquarium is situated right on the water, and has gorgeous paths along the shore and green grassy expanses that are perfect for picnics.  You can spend an entire day down there-so much fun!  We took Little C down there last weekend and she had such a blast. Each time we go she has a different experience-we started taking her when she was only six or seven months old, and as she grows her understanding and interaction changes. It truly is amazing to watch her grow up. She is turning into such a funny little person, so much personality.  I love her so much….can you tell? Hope that you all had a wonderful weekend! Happy Monday 🙂 Thanks for reading!
