Our amazing neighbors are moving, and I am so sad. Big C has had to travel for work a lot so they have become like our second family. Their son, Joey, is a year younger than Little C, and the two babes absolutely adore each other. Little C asks for Joey all the time-they play, eat, and bathe together frequently; we are so going to miss them. This weekend Joey’s mom and I took the littles to the aquarium in Long Beach because this was one of the last weekends before their move. The babes loved seeing all of the fish and watching the seals wrestle. We happened to be there during a feeding in the large tank, and Little C was amazed by the divers swimming effortlessly with the fish and sharks. The rays were another favorite, she thought that their mouths looked like smiling faces (they do!) and she kept reaching out to try to touch them as they glided past, their velvety fins brushing the glass. I love taking her places where she can experience, learn, and grow. It is a wondrous gift to be able to do these sorts of things with her. I’m blessed 🙂 Happy Monday!
